A second gym is under construction at Herculaneum High School. The passage of a no-tax-rate-increase bond issue made this possible.  The issue, which included new safe and secure entrances to Pevely Elementary School and Senn-Thomas Middle School, was approved by 76.1% of voters.

We were the last public school in Jefferson County to get turf field, but it was worth the wait. 

Our school resource officer works full-time for the Dunklin R-5 School District.  He is not a part of a local law enforcement agency but is commissioned by the district, as state law allows. He has the same authority as any police officer or deputy.

Just before students returned in August, we welcomed back our staff and their families with a carnival of activities. One of them was picking flowers to make a bouquet.
